For traders looking to take advantage of Trading Central, there are plenty of brokers that offer the analytics suite. However, not all brokers are equal. In this test, I looked for brokers that offer Trading Central, but also offer strong regulatory oversight, competitive fees, and a broad market offering.
All brokers in this article offer Trading Central within their platforms. The brokers also have educational resources for traders who may be new to Trading Central. I also chose brokers that offered a long list of markets that are supported in the Trading Central analysis tools.

FxPro was launched in 1999 and offers a comprehensive suite of trading tools and platforms that cater to all types of trading styles. Over 2,100 tradable instruments are available to trade on from the MT4, MT5, cTrader, FxPro Web Platform, and FxPro Mobile App.Â
FxPro offers Trading Central, including the handy MT4 indicators. Its pivot levels indicators offer price forecasts directly from the MT4/MT5 platform and a screener providing automatic detection of candlestick patterns.Â
The live test showed low spreads on gold in the Standard account, indices, and shares. However, forex and cryptocurrency spreads were a bit higher than average. More competitive spreads are available on the Raw+ Account, which has spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of $3.50 per lot per side, in line with the industry average.
AvaTrade was founded in 2006 and has a wide range of trading platforms, including MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, WebTrader, AvaSocial, AvaOptions, and AvaTradeGO. AvaTrade offers over 1,250 tradable instruments, all with no commissions.Â
AvaTrade offers a large range of Trading Central products via its proprietary platforms and through the MetaTrader platforms. One particularly outstanding product is the Market Buzz feature, which analyses thousands of news websites to provide sentiment readings in different markets. There is also the Featured Ideas section, which offers real-time trading ideas.
In live testing, AvaTrade offered an average of 0.9 pips on the EUR/USD pair, beating the industry average of 1.1 pips.
IC Markets started back in 2007, and has become a favorite for high-volume traders and high-frequency traders due to low spreads and interbank market execution. IC Markets also has raw ECN pricing accounts, making it a top Trading Central broker for automated trading.
IC Markets offers several platforms for automated trading, including MetaTrader 4 and 5. The MetaTrader Marketplace, with its thousands of free and paid-for automated trading strategies and indicators, offers plenty of choices for automated traders.
Testing showed the EUR/USD spread averaged 0.65 pips, under the average of 1.1 pips, and traders can even access spreads from 0.0 pips via the Raw ECN account, with a commission of $3.50 per lot, per side.
FP Markets was founded in 2005 and offers competitive spreads in its ECN accounts. FP Markets offers over 850 assets for trading in its multiple platforms, including MT4, MT5, cTrader, and IRESS.
The spread in the EUR/USD during the London session was an average of 1.05 pips, which is lower than the industry standard of 1.1 pips for a commission-free trading account. There are even lower spreads in the Raw ECN account from 0.0 pips, with a commission of $3 per lot per side, which is lower than the industry standard of $3.50.Â
Gold markets had an average spread of 23.5 cents, which is aligned with the industry average. The spread on DAX averaged 0.8 basis points. The Trading Central research tools only add to the appeal of a broker offering lower spreads than most.
Trading.com has been around since 2019 and launched its US retail forex operations in 2022. Being a New York-based broker means being regulated by the NFA and the CFTC, two of the most stringent regulatory bodies in the industry. There are 69 forex pairs for trading in its proprietary WebTrader platform and MetaTrader 5.
News and Analysis in the WebTrader platform provide directional bias, pivot points, and key support and resistance levels from Trading Central. There is also a news feed from Reuters with a steady stream of top market stories.
There is a well-organized set of educational resources built for beginners and intermediate traders. There are guides for platforms, as well as trading in general.
