XRP Price Prediction: XRP Could Hold Above Key Support as Ripple Predicts $900M in Revenue

Key Points:

  • Ripple just announced that it may close the year with total revenues exceeding $900 million.
  • The price of XRP (XRP) bounced after closing the first price imbalance in the 4-hour chart dating back to August.
  • The token may have to drop to lower areas ranging from $1.15 to $1.02 to unlock the liquidity needed to resume its rally.

XRP (XRP) has experienced a 3.5% loss in the past 7 days but recently bounced off a key support area as Ripple predicted that it will close 2026 with $900 million in annual revenue.

The announcement comes as the development company behind this blockchain just wrapped up its 2026 Swell Conference.

Ripple generates revenue from products that run on the XRP Ledger, such as Ripple USD (RLUSD) and new businesses like the prime brokerage unit.

Meanwhile, the approval of a national bank charter by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in the United States will create a new revenue stream for the company and will drive higher volumes toward the XRP Ledger as well.

“As traditional and digital finance converge, market infrastructure is migrating to modern rails. Settlement is moving to real-time, 24/7, and tokenized assets can be traded, financed, and used as collateral,” commented the head of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, regarding the current trends that are driving the market.

He added: “Ripple is at the epicenter of this massive transformation to rewire the world’s financial system, solving the inefficiencies that have slowed money movement for decades with digital assets like XRP.”

These are all project-specific tailwinds that the market is temporarily ignoring due to the latest wave of bearish sentiment, but that could result in a higher valuation for the project in the long term.

Massive Binance Hack Depresses Market Sentiment

The $6.3 billion Binance hack from last week has been the latest negative catalyst that has pushed crypto prices to lower areas.

The exchange announced that it has already replenished its reserves to 95% of customers’ funds, but it also confirmed that users took out over $3 billion from the platform after withdrawals were reactivated.

Even though previous exchange hacks have had a limited and temporary effect on the crypto market, the size of this recent incident and the fact that it impacted the world’s largest exchange may have undermined the public’s credibility in the top entities that make up this industry.

We see a strong chance that the price of top altcoins will continue to head lower in the next few days, as key support areas have been unable to keep prices afloat during this recent correction.

XRP Closes First Imbalance But May Need to Drop Further to Resume Its Rally

Turning to the 4-hour chart, we can see that XRP just filled the first fair value gap (FVG) left behind by the August rally.

Depending on whether the price action manages to recover strongly above this level, this trapped liquidity might or might not be sufficient to push the price above the key resistance to watch at $1.27.

If bearish momentum accelerates, we could envision the token dipping to $1.10 and even $1.02 depending on how bad things get. These are both areas that caused a price imbalance during the August rally and that the market will typically aim to fill.
